The female 5/8 thread makes it possible to adapt these onto commercial A-type and D-type keg couplers. Get creative and use them at the back of 5/8 Long Shanks to replace the nut and elbow barb to make it easier to disassemble for cleaning or for use inside a jockey box. These look similar to the Carbonation and Line Cleaning Caps, but lack the female P.E.T. bottle thread and the 6mm barb.
