Belgian Witbier – Extract Recipe Kit

The Belgian Witbier Recipe Kit makes it easy to brew a refreshing Belgian-style wheat beer at home. Combining a generous wheat malt base with the classic flavours of orange and coriander, this recipe produces a light, aromatic beer with bright citrus, gentle spice and a soft, easy-drinking finish.

Designed to produce 23 litres at approximately 4.5–5.0% ABV, the recipe combines Black Rock Crafted Coriander & Orange Witbier with Morgan’s Master Malt Wheat. The additional wheat malt extract builds body and creates a smooth mouthfeel while complementing the distinctive citrus and spice character of the Witbier base.

A 15g Tettnang hop addition is steeped for 20 minutes to provide a delicate layer of traditional hop character. Rather than making the beer heavily bitter or hop-forward, Tettnang provides gentle balance and allows the orange, coriander and wheat flavours to remain at the centre of the finished beer.

The Belgian Witbier Recipe Kit has been designed to keep the brewing process simple. The hop addition can be prepared in a small brew pot or steeped directly in a suitable fermenter using hot water, so you don’t need advanced brewing equipment to produce a more flavourful extract beer.

Premium Ale Yeast completes the recipe, providing a clean fermentation that allows the citrus, spice and wheat character to shine. A lively level of carbonation complements the finished beer particularly well, enhancing its refreshing character and helping create the bright drinking experience expected from this style.
