CULTIV8 FLEXIBLE HEAT MAT

The Cultiv8 Flexible Heat Mat is an essential propagation tool designed to improve seed germination rates and encourage faster root development in seedlings and cuttings. By providing a steady source of bottom heat, this versatile heat mat creates an ideal environment for propagation, especially during cooler months or in areas where temperatures fluctuate.

Successful germination often depends on maintaining stable root-zone temperatures. Therefore, the Cultiv8 Flexible Heat Mat helps create optimal conditions by operating at a fixed temperature of approximately 25°C. As a result, seeds can germinate more consistently while young plants develop stronger root systems.

The flexible design makes placement easy beneath propagation trays of various sizes. In addition, the included heat dispersion plugs create an air gap between the mat and the surface below, helping distribute heat more evenly and improving overall performance.

The Cultiv8 Flexible Heat Mat features a double-insulated construction that offers added protection against moisture. Consequently, it is well suited to the humid conditions often found in propagation areas, grow tents, and indoor gardening spaces.

Available in Small, Medium, and Large sizes, the Cultiv8 Flexible Heat Mat caters to hobby growers, hydroponic gardeners, and commercial propagators alike. Whether you are starting vegetable seedlings, rooting cuttings, germinating herbs, or propagating ornamental plants, this heat mat provides dependable warmth to support healthy plant development.

Furthermore, the energy-efficient design helps maintain ideal propagation temperatures without excessive power consumption, making it a practical addition to any indoor growing setup.

How It Works

The Cultiv8 Flexible Heat Mat gently warms the base of your propagation tray. This increases the root-zone temperature and creates favourable conditions for germination and root growth.

For most seeds and cuttings, maintaining a warmer root environment can significantly improve success rates. In addition, consistent warmth helps encourage faster and more uniform growth.

Heat dispersion plugs are included to create an air gap beneath the mat. Therefore, heat can spread more evenly across the growing area.

Growing Tips

For best results, place the heat mat on a flat and stable surface away from direct sunlight.

In cooler conditions, the mat helps maintain ideal germination temperatures. However, in warmer climates, the heat mat may increase temperatures by approximately 5-11°C above ambient conditions.

If room temperatures are already 25°C or higher, additional heating may not be necessary during summer months.
