Black Rock Crafted BIB IPA

Black Rock Crafted IPA is a classic IPA with punchy bitterness and biscuity malt character. Predominantly ale malt but with wheat for head retention, toffee, and a small amount of crystal, this will satisfy the IPA lovers taste buds every time.

Change the brew volume to alter your ABV and IBU (approx. values below):

• 18L – ABV 7.4%. IBU 49
• 20L – ABV 6.7%, IBU 44
• 23L – ABV 5.8%, IBU 38
• 25L – ABV 5.3%, IBU 35

We highly recommend using dry hopping practices during fermentation on this kit to get crafty hop aroma and flavour. It is recommended to dry hop after 5-7days, depending on fermentation.

Suggested hop additions:

• West Coast Pale Ale: Use Citra and/or Cascade, Centennial, Mosaic, Simcoe, El Dorado, Amarillo, Idaho 7
• Australian Pale Ale: Use Galaxy and/or Cascade
• New Zealand Pale Ale: Use Nelson Sauvin and/or Riwaka, Nectaron, Taiheke
