The standout feature is the extra-wide 115 mm lid, designed to make cleaning and access easier than ever. The larger opening allows easy reach inside the fermenter while also supporting a range of additional functionality through integrated ports.

Built for performance, the 30 L tank is ideal for standard single-batch fermentation. The Chubby Apollo functions as a closed-bottom pressure fermenter, enabling pressure fermentation and closed transfers, but it can also be used as a traditional gravity fermenter with an airlock if preferred.

The durable PET construction and reinforced design provide exceptional strength, while the integrated handles are robust enough to lift the fermenter even when full. A stable bottom chime keeps the tank upright without the need for an external rack or frame.

The lid system offers excellent flexibility, including a centre port with ½” BSP threads. This comes sealed with a hex cap but allows the addition of optional accessories such as thermowells, CIP equipment, or other compatible fittings.
