The Winter Aperol Spritz Essence Pack is a cocktail pack for customers who want to recreate VHHB’s colourful winter-inspired spritz at home.
This cocktail combines the bold citrus and bittersweet character of an orange aperitivo-style drink with the rich berry flavour of a black raspberry-style liqueur.
A small addition of Grenadine Syrup softens the bitterness and creates an attractive winter-sunset colour through the glass. Garnish the finished drink with a fresh orange slice and pomegranate seeds for a festive cocktail-bar presentation.
How to Prepare the Orange Aperitivo
Before making the cocktail, prepare the Still Spirits Top Shelf Orange Aperitivo.
- Pour 310ml of vodka or suitable neutral spirit at approximately 40% ABV into 2 L jug
- Add the full bottle of Orange Aperitivo flavouring.
- Slowly add Top Shelf Liqueur Base B contents while stirring with a whisk.
- Top up with water to a final volume of 1.125 litres.
- Mix thoroughly until evenly combined.
- Transfer the prepared beverage into clean, sealed bottles.
- Allow the flavours to blend before making the cocktail.
Always use the flavouring according to the directions supplied with the product.
How to Prepare the Black Raspberry Top Ups
Prepare this component separately from the Orange Aperitivo.
- Pour the full 375ml bottle of Pure Distilling Black Raspberry Top Ups into a 2L Jug
- Add 550ml of vodka or suitable neutral spirit at approximately 40% ABV
- Add 200ml of water.
- Mix thoroughly until fully combined.
- Transfer the finished beverage into clean, sealed bottles.
- Serve as desired or use 40ml in each Winter Aperol Spritz.
This method produces approximately 1.125 litres.
The prepared Orange Aperitivo makes 1.125 litres, providing approximately 18 full cocktails using a 60ml serve.
The prepared Black Raspberry Top Ups provides makes 1.125 providing approximately 28 full cocktails using a 40ml serve.
The Grenadine Syrup included is not the limiting ingredient. Each cocktail uses only 3 -5ml, so the 750ml bottle contains enough syrup for many additional cocktails.
