CellarScience ENGLISH Ale Yeast 12g is a high-performance dry yeast strain developed for brewers seeking authentic English ale character, outstanding flocculation, and dependable fermentation performance. Designed for both home brewers and professional breweries, this versatile strain produces clean, balanced beers with excellent clarity and a smooth malt-forward profile.
Unlike many traditional dry yeasts, CellarScience ENGLISH Ale Yeast 12g benefits from modern production methods that deliver exceptional cell counts, high viability, and consistent fermentation results. Each sachet contains 12g of yeast, providing up to 9% more yeast than many competing dry yeast products. As a result, brewers benefit from strong fermentation performance and improved reliability from batch to batch.
The very high flocculation characteristics of CellarScience ENGLISH Ale Yeast 12g allow yeast to settle quickly after fermentation, helping produce bright, clear beer with minimal conditioning time. Furthermore, its balanced attenuation range helps preserve malt character while still producing a clean and well-attenuated finish.
Every batch is PCR tested to ensure contamination-free yeast and exceptional quality control. In addition, the yeast is manufactured using an advanced aerobic growth process that allows direct pitching without requiring oxygenation during the initial stages of fermentation.
Whether you’re brewing English Bitters, Porters, Stouts, Milds, Brown Ales, or traditional English IPAs, CellarScience ENGLISH Ale Yeast 12g delivers classic ale performance with the convenience and consistency of a premium modern dry yeast.
